Rated 5 out of 5 by stagriff from Amazing Game!!!! I'm only in the first chapter, but so far, this is one of the greatest games I've ever played The graphics are amazing, first of all. The music is subtle and not annoying. I don't pay too much attention to the storylines, so I can't comment on that. There are lots of little games and puzzles that are fun, challenging, and unique. But what I like the most was the challenge factor. It is quite difficult, which I love!! If you are wanting a relaxing, mindless game, this is not for you.

I also love the morphing objects and other objects to find in the CE. I usually play the game through without worrying about finding objects in each scene, then I go back and play the game again finding all the objects. Another great game, Mad Head!! Would love to see more games like this!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by rainworm from A thrilling experience! With this second installment of Shadowplay, we have an intriguing adventure, that challenges us in our real world as well as in a bizarre dimension, reminding me of the worlds of H. In certain respect two-dimensional: The Shadow from the first game is back, hidden in the ancient skull.

Whispers from the Past

Creative HO scenes and varied puzzles are well embedded in this fast paced game. The cutscenes enhance the overall suspense of the story. Reactions to the game are quite controversal. There are those, who love the return of the shadow monster, others complain just about that. Here a short summary of the game: The mystery begins with the excavation of the skull of darkness and progresses, when it is stolen from the musem. First just a green glowing of the empty eyes, then bursting in the hands of the thief in the museum and opening a portal into a dark dimension - thereby drawing Maya, the curators daughter into the other world.

Alicia, the curator, sets off for the hunt after the skull. Impressing cut scenes show Maya, apparently imprisoned somewhere behind a curtain between this and another world. But the burglar has not stolen the artifact for her own but on behalf of a mysterious stranger. In our next station, a cinema, he takes it, shoots the burglar girl, then another shot grazes Alicia. To regain the skull, she has to help the girl. That didn't go with his character at all. Especially during moments where a jealous Gabrielle, knowing he would never love her as he loved Susanna, said negative things about her and Mark didn't say anything.

It just seemed so unworthy of him as a character and made me think a little less of him. He wasn't fair to both Susanna and Gabrielle and the whole situation didn't strike me right. I just couldn't understand how Mark could be so passive about it and I didn't like it. It brought the book down and made me annoyed with the character. Not enough to ruin anything, but enough that I got irritated. There were a few twists and some unexpected uncertainty that made me anxious to find out how Mark and Susanna would manage to find their happy ending. I really enjoyed the story and the ending was a perfect wrap up to the series.

Whispers from the Past was a fantastic YA romance that I really enjoyed. It was a perfect conclusion to a wonderful series and I just loved it. Fans of the series, you won't be disappointed with this conclusion. And, YA lovers, this is a series you won't want to miss. A Whisper in Time http: Go read the books first. Elizabeth is such a fantastic writer and story teller, and I expected nothing less than epicness from her. As always, the writing was fantastic.

Elizabeth has a way of weaving words that draws you in. She could write scientific formula.. Her sentence structure, word choice, and flow will grab you and refuse to let go. I did have a few issues with some of the plot points that took place. Even though I had some issues with decisions made by the characters, Elizabeth did what an author is supposed to do.

Close Your Eyes And Forget

She made me feel. Happiness, sadness, anger, regret, frustration, sympathy. Elizabeth made the motivations clear, and I applaud her for taking risks with her characters and story. Her expert writing and story telling trumped any conflicts I felt about her choices in plot. Her in-depth historical research is evident on every page and will enrich your reading experience.

I could tell you about how much I love Mark and Susanna. About how much I enjoyed their witty banter, dedication to their loved ones, and strength. I love the characters, story, and writing. I think you will, too. I also love being proved right; Mark Lewis is in his last year of high school in modern-day Raleigh, North Carolina, and graduation is fast approaching. Mark had originally planned to send in applications to three schools, with Newman College in Virginia being his first choice; the main reason being that the campus is perfect for his passion of mountain bike riding.

However, Mark has now added a fourth school to the list. Mark is applying to Duke University because of its close proximity to home and to his girlfriend Susanna M Mark Lewis is in his last year of high school in modern-day Raleigh, North Carolina, and graduation is fast approaching. • After saving Susanna from the horrific circumstances of her indentured servitude in , and bringing her back to his century, Mark has assumed responsibility for Susanna. He cannot see himself moving over three hours away from her for four years. While Mark has his worries, Susanna believes that she is becoming accustomed to her new life. Also, Susanna has found a job bussing tables in a restaurant and is making friends.

These controversies leave Susanna not as sure in her relationship with Mark as she usually is, and she soon finds herself seeking out the familiar in the only way she knows how. Susanna takes a trip to the archives. Soon Susanna has more to worry about than Mark.

Susanna combs the archives for mention of Dorcas, one of the children she used to take care of and her closest friend, any time after the storm. When information is not there, Susanna decides to take things into her own hands and comes up with a plan that will ensure that Dorcas survives the storm. The only problem is that this plan will cost Susanna her freedom and maybe even her life. Mark and Susanna are coming up on a year since they met and developed a bond that crossed centuries.

Much has happened in the past year and there is much to come in the next few months. This may be an obtuse description, but one I gladly give for this highly talented and impressive artist. Mother Reverb by Glories. Every song on this record manages to guide you to a safe space in your mind where you can easily drift away in a reverie and be at complete ease, even if it's just for a moment.

There is darkness to be found to those who search for it but there is also something uplifting to be found here. I will definitely come back to this album. Again and then again.
